How to install a glass hinged door
The glass door has no frame: it hangs from two hinges fixed to the wall, and the lock is fitted directly on the glass. These are the steps of the FIP installation sheet for the glass hinged door on a pre-squared wall opening.

Before you start
Two people, the tools on the sheet and the parts in the box checked one by one.
You'll need
- Tape measure
- Spirit level
- Plumb line
- Drill driver
- Masonry bit

The sheet shows two people: the door is all glass and must be held while you hang it on the hinges.

Check the parts
The box contains 2 hinges, 1 lock, 8 screws, 8 Ø 8 mm wall plugs and two Allen keys, 3 mm and 5 mm.
The hinges on the wall
First the hinges are fixed, then the door is hung: the position of the hinges decides where the door will be.

Mark the position of the hinges 35 cm
In the drawing, for an 80 × 210 cm door, the two hinges are 35 cm from the top edge and 35 cm from the bottom edge of the door: there are 140 cm between them. With tape measure, spirit level, plumb line and pencil, mark the hole positions on the wall.

Drill the wall and insert the plugs
Drill the holes at the marked points and insert the Ø 8 mm wall plugs.

Screw the hinges to the wall
Fix the two hinges with the screws supplied.
The door and the lock
The door is hung on the hinges, then the lock is fitted and the opening direction is chosen.

Hang the door on the hinges Caution
Bring the glass door to the hinges fixed to the wall and lock it in place: this is when you need two people.

Fit the lock on the glass 105 cm
The lock fits in the two holes in the glass, 105 cm from the floor. The sheet shows it exploded, part by part: follow that order, with matching parts on either side of the glass and the handles last, with their washers.

Choose the opening direction
From the sheet: to change the opening direction, undo the screw that holds the strike, turn it the way you need and screw it back. The strike turns to the right or to the left.
