Prevention: where to start
Which tests to have, and how often, depends on each woman's age and family history. There is no single schedule that suits everyone: the place to start is your GP or gynaecologist, who can tell you which check-ups you really need and how often. In many Italian regions screening programmes are free and offered by invitation.
Fondazione Umberto Veronesi ETS funds research fellowships and supports research projects on women's cancers, as well as scientific outreach. This is the work that FIP Porte's contribution goes to.
