SecuSan® – The new standard in hygiene: Hygiene is a hotly debated topic among the public and is more relevant today than ever. Touching a door handle is like shaking hands with thousands of strangers. With its SecuSan® door handles and window handles, Hoppe offers active protection where it's most needed. The special SecuSan® surface immediately combats microbial growth, requiring no maintenance and remaining effective even with regular cleaning. The SecuSan® surface contains silver ions embedded in a glass ceramic carrier system. The silver ions inhibit the growth of germs such as bacteria, algae, and fungi, reducing the growth of germs by over 99%.

Antimicrobial efficacy: The SecuSan® surface combats the growth of bacteria, fungi, and algae on HOPPE door handles and window handles. It actively, permanently, and reliably protects against infections, both in clinics and schools and in private homes. The high efficacy of SecuSan® has been proven in independent laboratory and field tests. Silver ions disrupt the cell membranes of germs by blocking cell respiration and nutrition and interrupting cell division. SecuSan® is an antibacterial and antimicrobial surface for door handles and window handles that remains effective even with regular cleaning.

Examples of use: Fittings with the SecuSan® surface are particularly suitable for high-traffic environments, such as:

• Hospitals/clinics, medical centers, clinics, pharmacies
• Schools, kindergartens, nurseries
• Care facilities, retirement homes for the elderly
• Restaurants, trattorias, hotels, guesthouses
