Most recessed doors choose to be invisible even when closed — smooth, neutral, designed to disappear into the wall twice over. The 3D Diagonal does something different: it disappears when open, and when closed it becomes the element you look at. The three-dimensional pantographing, with its raised grid pattern, transforms the door's surface into a design detail — the same craftsmanship as the New York Line, here brought into a sliding system.

Who benefits from the recessed version

If space is the priority — a narrow corridor, a walk-in wardrobe, a separation between the living and sleeping areas in an open-plan space — the recessed door is the right technical choice: the leaf slides into the pocket wall and does not occupy the opening arc that a hinged door would require. Here we just add that you don't have to choose between functionality and character: you can have both.

How it works

The door leaf slides on an upper track that fully accommodates it within the adjacent wall, with no floor thresholds. The counterframe is compatible with the main solutions on the market — Eclisse, Scrigno, Dierre — and can be installed on both traditional masonry and plasterboard, even independently.
