Smooth Soundproof Door 38 Decibel Certified with Movable Threshold

Hinged door with certified sound insulation of Rw 38 dB, designed for homes, hospitality facilities, medical practices, hospitals and care homes. The door is often the weak point of a sound-insulating wall: with a 56 mm insulated leaf, double seals and a double movable threshold, the 38 dB door preserves the insulation of the wall it is fitted in.

Door Leaf

• Perimeter structure: solid wood.
• Core: insulated with mineral fibre.
• Covering: MDF.

Frame and Jambs

• Structure: solid fir core, with high mechanical strength.
• Covering: 3 mm moisture-resistant HDF, against humidity and for precise mouldings.
• Frame seals: sound-insulating and intumescent for hot smoke, on 3 sides.
• Wall: suitable for thicknesses from 11 to 13.5 cm.

Seals

• Double seals in sound-insulating plastic material.

Movable Threshold

• Double drop-down threshold in aluminium profile, with double rubber sealing gaskets.
• Simultaneous self-levelling descent when the door closes: it seals the gap under the leaf.

Lock

• Steel, with Yale-type cylinder hole, 85 mm centre distance.
• On request: electric strike and badge reader.

Finishes and Customisation

• 13 laminate finishes.
• On request: engraved or routed designs.
