In fact, their opening and closing mechanism is very simple. To act on these fixtures it is not necessary to use your hands, but only to lean briefly on the door. The hinge mechanism allows the door to move both forwards and backwards, leaving space to enter, and then close on its own.

In terms of space management, saloon doors occupy a rather large volume, taking into account the movements of the door both forwards and backwards. It must be said, however, that the action of the door takes only a few seconds, since the door closes again as soon as the passage ends.
