1. Registration and account management

Is subscription to the newsletter free?
Subscribing to the PORTEITALIANE newsletter is absolutely free and allows you to always be the first to purchase new products. Registration does not entail any purchase obligation and gives you the opportunity to be always updated on our promotions, on the launch of new brands and designers.

Can the subscription to the newsletter be canceled?
Your registration can be revoked: by writing to the email fip@fipporte.com.

What do I do if I forget my password?
Forgetting your password is not a problem: just enter click on Login (top right) and choose the "Request new password" option. You will receive an email containing a link where you can assign a new password to your account.

How can I change the email address?
Changing your email address is quick and easy. After logging in, just click on "My account" (at the top left of the site) and click on "Change access data". After entering the new e-mail address, confirm by clicking the "Save" button

How are my data processed?
PORTEITALIANE attaches great importance to the security of your data and to the need to treat it according to the strictest legislative requirements on the protection of the same (Legislative Decree n. 196/03). More detailed information can be found here in the Privacy policy area

2. Orders and Shipping

How do I place an order on PORTEITALIANE?
The ordering process is easy. If you have selected a product, after adding it to the cart click on the "Go to checkout" button. A page will open where you can enter your billing and shipping details. The first time you purchase from us, you will be asked to be stored and facilitate subsequent purchases. If your delivery address is different from the billing one, you can obviously indicate that too. If you have a PORTEITALIANE coupon, you can use it during this phase. After specifying the data, you get to the actual payment process, choosing the preferred method. Finally, by clicking on the "Proceed to purchase" button you will be able to see a summary of your choices. After confirming and accepting the terms and conditions, it will be possible to send your order. You will receive a confirmation email below.



Where can I check the status of my order?
To check the status of your order, you can access the "My account" area and then "My orders" where you will see a list of all your orders. For each order it will be possible to see the relative processing phase. We will notify you of delivery 24/48 hours in advance through a communication to the email indicated during the purchase.



What are the payment methods available?
PORTEITALIANE offers many payment options and allows you to use the most popular credit cards. Security is a priority for PORTEITALIANE, therefore your information will be encrypted.
We offer you the opportunity to pay comfortably with:
• credit card
• prepaid card
• wire transfer
• PayPal
In the case of payment by credit card, we recommend that you have the SecureCode code handy to speed up your purchase. 




Is it possible to choose the payment method during the order process?
Payments made by credit and debit card must be validated by both PORTEITALIANE and the card issuer in order to protect security and prevent fraud. It is also possible to pay either by bank transfer by providing a copy of the payment slip to fip@fipporte.com or through a Paypal account. Please keep in mind that it is possible to send the goods only after verifying receipt of the payment.

How long does it take to process my order?
The processing times of the order are estimated based on production times (where applicable) and depend on the availability of the product ordered and the type of article chosen. Products marked with the word "Prompt Delivery" are delivered in 2/3 working days (excluding possible deliveries in difficult areas). In many cases the chosen product will be put into production specifically for your order therefore delivery times will be the result of an artisan production process that requires attention to detail and ad-hoc production.

PORTEITALIANE undertakes to respect the estimated delivery times communicated on the site, however if unexpected events occur in the production or processing phases, you will always be notified in time by our team. If in doubt, do not hesitate to write to us at fip@fipporte.com



How much is shipping?
Shipments are free in Italy.


Is it possible to request shipments outside Italy?
Of course, PORTEITALIANE ships all over the world! Indicate the destination country during the purchase process or send us a request to the email fip@fipporte.com indicating the destination area and we will provide you with the appropriate information.



Who is in charge of shipping my package?
PORTEITALIANE guarantees an easy and pleasant shopping, even for shipping! Your order will be processed by our logistics service safely and conveniently and will be delivered (to the address indicated in the order form) through the best couriers available on the market. PORTEITALIANE uses express couriers and couriers specialized in bulky furniture deliveries.


What to do when the goods are delivered
It is absolutely recommended to check some things during the delivery of your order: upon receipt of the products, it is advisable (i) to check that the number of packages corresponds to what is indicated on the delivery note, (ii) to check the integrity of the packaging, the any presence of signs of break-ins and any signs of anomaly with respect to the integrity of the content. In case of anomalies it is necessary to indicate the wording "acceptance with reserve" during the signature to be affixed on the delivery note of the carrier and then send an email to fip@fipporte.com



How can I request an invoice?
At the conclusion of the purchase you will receive the order confirmation (which will be used for guarantee and assistance) but in case of an invoice request it is necessary to give an indication before the conclusion of the order by filling in the relevant field during the data entry phase. At the time of purchase, click on "I want an invoice" and enter your tax code or VAT number. The invoice will be sent by email later. It will not be possible to request an invoice once the order has been completed.

How can I contact you for product assistance?
For any need for assistance or complaints relating to the products purchased, you can contact PORTEITALIANE by writing to the email address fip@fipporte.com. If you want a telephone contact, specify it in the email by entering your contacts.

3. Returns


In which cases can I ask for the return and the relative refund of my order?
No problem!! if for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you can request a refund and return it quickly and easily. The right of withdrawal is governed by current regulations.

What can I return and in what time frame?
You can return the purchased item (s) by communicating their intention within 14 working days from the order delivery date. The right of withdrawal governed by these conditions of sale does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalized or which, by their nature, cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or alter rapidly.

How does the return take place?
The items to be returned must be in original condition, properly packaged and packed.The shipment must be made using the same cardboard protective box in which it was received to protect the product.
In the event that the protective box used for delivery is not available, the customer must return the product in a protective box with the aim of making it arrive in the PORTEITALIANE warehouse with the greatest possible care.
You must insert a copy of the delivery note in the package which highlights the returned products and the reason for the return.
In case you want to proceed with a return, write to fip@fipporte.com and we will organize the collection through our carriers or give you an indication on the matter.

Can I make product replacements?
In the case of a defective or defective item we can replace your item with the same item you ordered, and you must return the damaged or defective item within 14 days from the delivery date (subject to availability). If, on the other hand, you intend to replace the item (subject to availability in the catalog according to the Terms and Conditions) or to order a different one, you will have to return the one you received and place a new order.

When and how can I get a refund?
The return of the products will generate a refund equal to 100% of the cost you have incurred for the article itself.
In the case of a defective or non-conforming product, PORTEITALIANE will also reimburse you for the related shipping costs, which otherwise will be at your expense.
The refund can be made by crediting the credit card, bank transfer or PayPal: to indicate the selected method, write to fip@fipporte.com.
Partial refunds will correspond to partial refunds.
PORTEITALIANE will refund the refund according to the system indicated by you within 48 hours from the confirmation of the arrival of the returned parcel in the warehouse.
The refund on your credit card, your bank account or PayPal will be viewable in a few days depending on the payment method.

Do the products purchased on PORTEITALIANE come with a guarantee?
PORTEITALIANE and / or the partner producers represented will provide, in relation to the products purchased by the customer, the legal guarantee of compliance with the conditions and terms set out in articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code. In particular, the rights arising from this guarantee may be exercised on condition that the products have been used correctly, with due diligence and in accordance with the intended use and as provided in the enclosed indications, as well as upon presentation by the customer of the delivery note received with the same and indication of the order number. The costs related to the return of products as a result of the exercise of the guarantee will be borne by PORTEITALIANE and / or the partner producers.
